AC/DC – Rock Or Bust – 50th Anniversary






To honour AC/DC’s 50-year reign as the world’s greatest rock and roll band, Columbia/Sony Legacy proudly announce that the band’s catalogue will be available as gold-coloured vinyl LPs. Each of these limited edition LPs comes with an album-specific 12”x12” print featuring new AC/DC 50 artwork, suitable for framing.

To coincide with the band’s shows at Wembley Stadium, AC/DC will open a Dive Bar at Vanguard in Camden from the 2nd to 8th July. The Dive Bar will be the ultimate way to connect and plug in with fellow AC/DC fans over the week, check out AC/DC memorabilia and pick up exclusive merch including some very special vinyl releases. The second wave of AC/DC 50 releases includes six more classic releases. A final vinyl drop will follow later in the year.

AC/DC are one of the most influential rock bands in history with over 200 million albums sold worldwide and 72 million in the U.S. alone. The band’s ‘Back In Black’ album stands out as the ‘bestselling album by any band ever’ and the ‘third bestselling album by any artist’ with global sales of 50 million and counting. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003. The band also garnered their first GRAMMY® award in the category of ‘Best hard Rock Performance’ in 2010. The band are also in the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their native Australia. The band continue to sell out stadiums on multiple continents, sell millions of albums annually, generate streams in the billions and have a legion of dedicated fans which grows with every passing year. The band released their 17th album ‘Power Up’ in 2020 which debuted at #1 in 21 countries.


ROCK OR BUST – This 2014 album was the first to feature Stevie Young,  Angus & Malcolm’s nephew, on rhythm guitar. The album entered the charts at #1 in 12 countries and was top 5 in a further 12.
