Blur’s classic 1995 album The Great Escape turns 30 this year and to celebrate this landmark occasion we’re releasing a special 2LP edition of the album on coloured vinyl (each disc a different colour) housed in all-new artwork!
Originally released on 11th September 1995, the album was the follow-up to blur’s global breakthrough album Parklife, which charted at no. 1 selling over 120,000 copies in its first week, going on to achieve Triple Platinum status in the UK (900k sales to date). Featuring the hit singles, Country House (no. 1), The Universal (no. 5), Stereotypes (no. 7) and Charmless Man (no. 5).
