19 year old wonderkid Jake Bugg from Nottingham releases his debut album on mercury. the album has all the hallmarks of classic song writing and sits somewhere between a council estate Dylan and the arctic monkeys with strong shuffling chords, cracking choruses and simple but effective guitar solos. the album, which clocks in at under 40 minutes, consists of 14 songs and features previous singles, ‘lightning bolt’ and ‘taste it’, as well as forthcoming release ‘two fingers’.
