Description
The Housemartins – Early Door In Carlisle
On a cold day in late 1985 the Housemartins arrived in Carlisle to play a gig at the ‘Stars & Stripes’ venue, while touring in promotion of their debut single “Flag Day”. The release of the full album London 0 Hull 4, and the success that followed, was miles away. With exceptional sound quality and a cracking performance, it features the original four-piece lineup of Paul Heaton, Stan Cullimore, Ted Key and Hugh Whitaker.
